Who you are dealing with

Spoods Web is operated by Spoods Web, LLC from Arlington, Washington. Using this site or buying from it means you accept these terms.

You must be eighteen or older to buy a live animal from us.

What you are buying

Each listing is one individual, captive-bred animal, not a species and a quantity. The photographs and the recorded appearance on a listing are of that animal specifically.

A spider is a living creature and is described honestly rather than flatteringly. Sizes are given as measured at the last moult and will change. Colour changes with each moult, and the animal in the photograph may not look identical on arrival.

A listing is an invitation to buy, not a binding offer. An animal is reserved when checkout begins and sold when payment clears; if something goes wrong between those two points, we refund in full rather than substitute another animal without asking.

Price and payment

Prices are in US dollars and are what you pay at checkout, plus shipping and any tax due. Payment is taken by Stripe.

If a price is listed wrongly through an obvious error, we may cancel the order and refund it in full rather than honour it. We will tell you which listing and what the price should have been.

Your responsibilities as a keeper

Check that keeping this species is lawful where you live before you order. We ship only within the United States and we cannot advise on your local rules.

The care notes on this site are what works in our breeding room and are offered in good faith. They are not veterinary advice.

Limits

Our liability for any order is limited to what you paid for it, including shipping. We are not liable for indirect losses.

Nothing here limits any right you have under consumer law that cannot be limited by agreement, and where these terms and that law disagree, the law wins.

The shipping, returns and live arrival policies form part of these terms.

These terms are governed by the law of the State of Washington.

Changes

We may revise these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it, and every page here carries the date it was last changed.
